Anna Goldberg (she/they) is a writer, editor, and geek of all trades. She is the cofounder of Six String Games, a micropress which publishes tabletop role-playing games from the stranger side of storytelling.
Anna got started writing for tabletop games with Flames of Freedom, the grim and perilous game of American history from Andrews McMeel Publishing. Also at Andrews McMeel, she wrote and edited for the Zweihander Starter Kit, Blackbirds, and the forthcoming Fever Knights tabletop role-playing games. Additionally, she has worked with Mage Hand Press, DOTS RPG, and elsewhere making games and game-related content of all sorts.
Anna’s poetry has been published in Collective Verses, a project of the Storytelling Collective online writing community. She is currently working on her first poetry pamphlet, Songs from the Sidewalk.
When they’re not writing or making games, Anna is an avid cosplayer, tea drinker, and bibliophile. They are the cofounder of the Disability Readathon, a semi-annual event dedicated to celebrating books and media created by disabled authors. They also do disability advocacy and consulting for games, cosplay events, and other geeky endeavors, promoting inclusivity and access for all. Anna resides in the Pacific Northwest, in a bog witch’s dwelling she shares with her husband and their two dogs.
